Transparency Troubleshooting
Transparency allows you to use CloudPrompter as a 'transparent' teleprompter over the top of any window or desktop on your computer, such as a video call or live stream feed.
Follow these steps if Transparency is not working in CloudPrompter:
Mac: Check your macOS Privacy Settings
If you're using a Mac, you may need to allow your Browser permission to share or 'record' your screen. This may be disabled by default, and will cause Transparency to not work in CloudPrompter.
Try the following steps:
- Open System Settings on your Mac
- Go to Privacy & Security
- Go to Screen Recording
- Check that your web browser is enabled, for example, Chrome.
- Quit your browser and reopen it, then return to CloudPrompter and try again.
